Today was the first day of school. I think that Brayden was up with the sun. It was about 6:00 am that I heard him stirring around in his room. Zach was drug out of bed by mom at 7:14 am. The bus comes at 7:39, 3 blocks away!! But he got a ride from a friend for the first day! Whew. What a difference in the way to start their day. But they got off on time and ready for the first day. Zach had a good first day of high school. His locker open, closed, & locked. He has learned to avoid the cheeseburgers and make sure he makes it to the bus right after school if he wants a seat. He has already scoped out other buses hoping for a better ride home. Brayden had a great day at 3rd grade. He met up with friends he hasn't seen in 3 months and he had milk break in the afternoon. He was used to having it in the morning! It was a big change for him. Kailey enjoyed having dad to herself all day. I am glad to have the routine of school back in our lives again.
